This Independence Day, the City of Raleigh is moving the annual 4th of July fireworks in order to improve the experience in its entirety.  The event has been held in the heart of DTR since 2012, but with all of the new construction downtown, they are being moved back to their old school location near the N.C. State Fairgrounds.

They are promising an even bigger scale show than before with all the new room offered by the new location at PNC Arena at 1400 Edwards Mill Road.  Fireworks will be shot from the Varsity Lot at NCSU beside Carter-Finley.
